I’m a proofreader with 16+ years of experience in document quality assurance. It’s my job to catch the ambiguities, contradictions, and inconsistencies that can accumulate during a multi-stage production process.

My proofreading and proof-editing experience includes newsletters, magazines, company and charity reports, corporate training materials, and similar publications. I often work on proofs just before or after the final stage of editorial design.

I trained in copyediting with UC San Diego and proofreading with the Publishing Training Centre (now called Institute of Publishing).

I love being a proofreader because it’s about supporting people and their work.
